Understanding MOI (Months of Inventory): Months of inventory is a measurement to help understand how busy a marketplace by comparing how many active number of active listings, and comparing them to the average amount of properties sell per month. Essentially, MOI would be the amount of time (in months) on how long all the active listings would sell in that certain category. So, if an MOI is at a low number, that signifies a sellers market. If the number is around 4-6, that signifies that it's a balanced market. And lastly, if the numbers are above 6, that signifies a buyers market.
