Thanks for watching part 2 of this Year's March Madness Real Estate recap. Without further ado, lets look at Richmond's top 5 hottest markets since the start of 2023.

Once again, lets take a look at the apartments in Brighouse South 
Its no surprise, that once again the apartments in Brighouse South has hit our top 5 hottest markets.  The spring time will very likely be bringing in more motivated home buyers in this centralized, yet fairly affordable area.


A new area we've seen in our top 5, lets take a look at the apartments in the Broadmoor 
This is the first time we've seen the Broadmoor area in our top 5.  With the change of legistlation of age restrictions, the market has opened up in this area inviting a broader range of buyers

For single family homes, one of the hottest markets  is South Arm.  

The South Arm neighbourhood is also another new neighbourhood we see in our top 5. With a 2 week turnaround time on the market and 4 months of inventory on the market, this is definitely a neighbourhood to be looking out for



And another single family market that hit our top 5, the ever so popular Seafair neighbourhood.
The Seafair neighbourhood has alaws been a popular neighbouthood, but its only now that we've seen seafair in our top 5.  With a neighbourhood thats very mixed with older homes and newly built homes, we usually see some inconsistencies in this neighbourhood in particular. However, this area is showing as a sellers market with average time on the market of 1 or 2 weeks


Steveston South Single Family Homes and Apartments and Townhomes
This is the first time we've ever seen a neighbourhood in our top 5 that covers all property types, but its no doubt since the start of the year the Steveston South has been popular.  The apartments and townhomes are showing numbers of a pretty strong sellers market, while the single family homes in the neighbourhood is still in the mid end of a sellers market while other areas of Steveston are showing signs of a balanced market.
