So, just like the announcement to eliminate strata rentals, the provinial government announced a plan to eliminate age restrictions as well.  One group that will still be protected are strata complexes that are 55+, or senior residence complex.

And of course, this was an initiative to tackle the housing availibility issue. 

Although the sentiment is great that adult oriented properties will now be welcoming children, im still unsure how this will impact their goal.  Even in slow real estate markets, the demand for adult oriented properties have always been met, and in some cases, have been more popular than their no age restrictions counter parts.
