Realtor tip on social credibility

Blog by Ray Estrella | April 18th, 2024

So here's a discussion i had with clients when we were doing our key exchange:

They were saying "Oh, we're so glad we met you, your service was excellent....etc

"but....i have to admit, we had to do some research on you before we hired you as our realtor."

Now a little background about this client: they were a referral from a couple of A+ clients in my database

And heres a reminder for all y'all realtors: that even if you got a referral from your best clients, that you're not guaranteed them as a client and you still have to work for it.

Now all clients are different, but there is one aspect that remains the same: some clients will look for 5, 10 or even 20 reasons to hire a realtor, but will look for 1 reason to not hire them.

This is why its important to maintain your social credibility.

So here's two ways to increase your social credibility:

1. Make sure you have a google business page.
This platform provides a simple snapshot of your business operations and a common place where people read reviews.
2. Make sure to have a facebook business page
A Facebook business page can act as your website even if you don't have a stand alone website.

And the best thing about these two are that they are free, but one last thing...a lack of social credibility is also a common reason why realtors don't get hired.
