Real Estate Recap - March 2024

So, the numbers are out, so lets take a look at whats been happening in our home town of Richmond, BC

-For single family homes, benchmark price is at 2.190M, which represents a 4% increase year over year
-Average days o nthe market: 22.  Same as February, but we're probably expected to see that change come april.


-Most popular neighbourhood for March, Steveston North! with a selling ratio close to 60%
-And if you're looking to buy, you may want to check out the boyd park area that has high invetory with only 1 sale in the last month.



-for apartments, benchmark price reached 772,000 which represents a6.2% increase year over year as opposed. 
Townhomes also saw an increase of 4.7 % over the year roo. 
-Days on the market average went from 3 weeks to 2 weeks.  So this area is starting see its spring market come early.
-Most popular area for condos and townhomes, Terra Nova and Riverdale which is showing an inventory that can't keep up with the demand
-And if youre looking to buy, check out whats happening at the Hamiltown area, however, everything is showing a minimum of a balanced market all across richmond (23% across richmond)
