So, we just finished giving the keys on our latest sale on westminster hwy.  This marks the third deal in a row where we required a locksmith. 

Not that its anyones fault, but looks like there is new hindsight that we've been seeing recently.  As technology arises, a lot of locks are adding the feature of being electric, with keypad options or wi-fi operated.  And many people depend on these devices for years on end and the original key gets lost in oblivion. 

Be reminded that if you're looking to sell your home, that you do require the key for that door, even if you've never used the key before.  The exterior keys are required to operate a main function of the household, so this is something that will be brought upon the seller if these aren't provided upon possession.
