Richmond Report - September 2024

So the numbers are out, so here's whats been happening in our home town of richmond bc

Single Family Homes:

benchmark price of 2.15M, which represents a 2% decrease from the previous month. 
Days on the market went from 19 days in July to 23 in August.
On top of that, sales went down from 59 in july to 43 in august. 

As i said in last month's richmond report, the august numbers wont be pretty.  It usually isn't

And most popular neighbourhood in Richmond: Steveston Village with 67% ratio.  However the Sea Island neighbourhood was unuaully high for the month of August.

And if you're looking to buy, you may want to check out the Hamilton and Ironwood  areas and the 40 properties they have on the market. 


For condos and townhomes: 
You're looking at a 26% drop in sales from last month. 
However, both 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units at less than 800k are at 20% selling ratio

Most popular neigbouroohood: The Granville area with a 50% sales ratio

And if you're looking to buy, you may want to see whats happening with the townhomes in the Terra Nova area
