Cheap ways to start winterizing your home

With December here, here are a few ways to winterize your home for little money.

1. Turn off all exterior faucets. Considering you're very welll not likely to use these until the next year so it's best to turn them off them off to prevent pipes from bursting

2. Stand by your windows and doors to see if theres any cold air coming in while they're closed. If cold air is coming in, you may want to get some new weather stripping or sealant.

3. Make sure to get your bag of de-iciing salt now. From previous years, when it got really cold, these bags of salt go fast.

4. Now is a time to replace your battery for your smoke detector.

If you have none of these items, the total cost for all of these is $48
