Hey everyone, here are a few notes on whats been going on in our hometown of Richmond BC for the month of December, 2023

-Benchmark price for single family homes is 2.11M.  This represents a 6% increase from last year
-For any property less than 2M showing signs of a sellers market with a 25% selling ratio
-A widespread average doesnt make any neighbourhood a hot spot, but you may want to take a look at the broadmoor area if you're looking to buy with 32 active listings on the market and only 1 sale
-For condos and townhomes, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units are numbers of sellers markets. Townhomes back to a balance market.
-Benchmark price for apartments increased by 20%
-Most popular areas are both the central Richmond regions, Brighouse and Brighouse South
-Townhomes in hamilton are at high inventories with no sales in the last month.
